CAPITA1 publishes information about Indian markets — public issues, company filings, business news, plain-language explainers and free financial calculators. Everything on the public side of the site is readable without an account.
Where the numbers come from
Market data is collected from official sources — principally NSE — on a schedule, stored with the date it was collected, and published from that stored copy. Almost nothing is typed in by hand, and every figure that depends on a filing carries the period that filing covers.
Where a figure has no reliable machine source, we say so rather than guess. Grey market premium and Offer for Sale details are entered by a person from the exchange notice, and each carries a link to the document it was read from.
That is why a figure here can be checked. An IPO page is one worked example: the price band, the dates and the subscription come from the exchange’s own issue filing, the timeline names each date it knows and says “to be announced” for the ones it does not, and a field the filing never stated is left blank rather than inferred.
Market data can be delayed and is published for information only. Where a figure is end-of-day rather than live, the page it appears on says so. Accuracy is not guaranteed — see the data accuracy disclaimer.
