About Purple Style Labs

The company operates Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, an omnichannel luxury-fashion platform spanning apparel, jewellery, accessories and lifestyle products. It brings designer brands to customers through digital channels and physical stores. As of 31 July 2026, the platform reportedly featured 1,109 designers. Its economics depend on brand assortment, customer acquisition, repeat purchases, inventory choices and store-level productivity.

Lot Size and Reservation

One retail lot is 26 shares and costs ₹14,950 at the cap price. Thirteen lots cost ₹194,350; the minimum sNII application is 14 lots or ₹209,300. Final category shares should be checked on the exchange bidding page because anchor allotment changes the net QIB availability.

Objectives of the IPO

The issue is all fresh capital. The RHP should be followed for the exact split among brand/store expansion, debt repayment, working capital, acquisitions or general corporate purposes. No proceeds are diverted to an OFS, but that alone does not establish that each use will earn an adequate return.

Financial Performance

  • Financial year: FY2025 | Total income: about ₹494.0 cr | PAT: loss of ₹188.38 cr | EBITDA: ₹41.99 cr
  • Financial year: FY2026 | Total income: ₹567.07 cr | PAT: loss of ₹285.40 cr | EBITDA: ₹30.37 cr

Income grew about 14.8%, but the loss widened and EBITDA margin fell from roughly 8.6% to 5.4%. Reported debt was about ₹371 crore. With negative earnings, a conventional P/E is not meaningful; investors should focus on enterprise value versus sales, gross margin, EBITDA quality, cash burn and a credible path to profitability.

Strengths and Risks

Strengths include a recognised luxury-fashion platform, broad designer selection, omnichannel reach and exposure to Indian wedding and occasion wear. Risks include continuing losses, high debt, cash burn, discretionary luxury demand, dependence on designer relationships, inventory markdowns, customer-acquisition cost, store execution and an IPO valuation that assumes substantial future improvement.

Valuation and Balanced View

Because PAT is negative, describing the IPO as cheap or expensive using P/E would be meaningless. Investors should model the sales growth and margin needed to cover finance costs, overhead and depreciation. The issue may interest investors with a high tolerance for loss-making consumer-platform risk; investors seeking demonstrated profitability may prefer to monitor cash burn and post-listing execution.
